A number of things have been going here and none more notable that a significant change of direction. After more years of web development in the custom design realm than we wish to admit, we have decided to commit fully to the development and hosting of Wordpress, CMS-based solutions. Why such a dramatic commitment to one system, a system known as blogging software?

Because the world has changed, that’s why!

Wordpress has emerged as both a serious CMS (Content Management System) and into one of the most innovative and creative design communities anywhere. This open source product has the potential to change everything and is very reminiscent of some of the net’s early days when Google was just a newcomer that no one thought would rule the world.

The requirements for this project were extensive and included a robust CMS (Content Management System) so that the organization could update and manage their site after the design was complete. We chose to implement a Wordpress system with a dynamic template that offers full featured blog engine, gallery photo and video capabilities (Flash, Quicktime, etc.).

Sonbuilt is one of the finest custom home builders in the Lower Mainland of British Columbia, Canada. They primarily serve the Vancouver, Langley & Abbotsford areas.

Their needs were for a simple but professional website that profiled their business and a blog to highlight the tremendous amount of knowledge locked away in the brain of the company’s President, Jonathan Zerkee. Many people have been telling Jonathan that he should be on TV as his is both passionate and knowledgeable about building quality homes without cutting ANY corners!
